About Modern Business Daily
Modern Business Daily is an independent guide for people running a business on their own, mainly in the US, with a small section for UK sole traders. It's edited by Robert Thomas. We don't run a test lab. For each guide we read the expert reviews worth reading, gather what real customers say on review sites, check every price and feature on the provider's own website, and then give you a clear verdict, with every source linked so you can check our work. Research and first drafts are produced with the help of AI tools; every guide is checked and edited by a person before it's published. Some links are affiliate links, and they never decide what we recommend. This address was once home to M-Business magazine (2000 to 2002). We have no connection to its publisher; our archive page tells that story.
What we publish
- Run the Business is the main section: US virtual addresses, business bank accounts, credit cards and LLCs, with a clearly labelled UK block for sole traders.
- AI & Tools covers the software a small business actually uses, including websites and AI coding tools. The old Build & Launch section now lives here.
